Antonio Delgado ’99, U.S. Representative for the 19th Congressional District, will deliver the commencement address to Colgate University’s Class of 2019 on May 19, 2019.

Young Colgate alumni (Classes of 2009–2018) in six cities celebrated their alma mater’s 200th year at “Bicentennial Birthday Parties” in six U.S. cities on December 6, 2018. Their special birthday present to alma mater was gifts to benefit financial aid, matched by alumni challengers in each city.

From “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and other Yuletide tunes — to mainstream hits sung by Bing Crosby, Glenn Miller, and Sammy Davis Jr. — Johnny Marks, Colgate Class of 1931, made an enduring mark on popular songwriting.

Colgate University will honor Martin Luther King Jr. during a two-week celebration, January 21–February 3, 2019. The commemoration is sponsored by the ALANA Cultural Center and the Bicentennial committee.
