Colgate Athletics is pleased to announce its Trailblazers of Distinction in conjunction with the Patriot League to recognize the accomplishments of impactful women leaders during the Title IX era.

Now in his 40th season behind the Red Sox mic, Joe Castiglione ’68 called play-by-play for Colgate football and basketball as a history major.

A Colgate group with an interest in cycling and grueling adventure took on the Erie Canalway Trail on April 23. The 365-mile course from Albany to Buffalo is a big draw for bicyclists of all abilities, although only the most ambitious will attempt the entire trail in one shot.

Trustee Emeritus Chase Carey ’76, his wife, Wendy, and their children Steve ’12 and Tara ’13 have made a transformative $25 million gift to spearhead a comprehensive renovation of the Reid Athletic Center and support other elements of the University’s Third-Century Plan.

Colgate University invited alumni, friends, and family to campus for the dedication of Biddle Way, Biddle Plaza, and the Dick Biddle video board at Andy Kerr Stadium.

On the 20th anniversary of 9/11, Colgate University men’s soccer alumni gathered to dedicate three team lockers to the memory of former players who died in attacks on the World Trade Center.
