The Student Education Assistant works closely with the Assistant Educator to research area schools and develop educational materials for use in K-12 and community programming and outreach. They also assist in the execution of the programming events as needed.
The assistant receives hands-on experience in K-12 education and working with young learners, foundational knowledge that can be used in preparation for a future career in the education field.
