Colgate University has announced fall semester plans that reduce COVID-related restrictions while keeping a close eye on infection data and the rapid spread of the delta variant.

As part of its Native American Heritage Month celebrations, Colgate University’s ALANA Cultural Center hosted a virtual panel on “Experiences of the Pandemic in the Native Americas” on Nov. 2.

One of the facets of Colgate University’s strategy to detect signs of SARS-CoV2 on campus is the broad use of wastewater testing to find any early indications of spreading coronavirus. The plan received national attention, with news outlets like CBS mentioning the effort as a stand out among many of the college reopening plans across the country. 

Through the steps we will take together, we can comply with New York State law and increase, collectively, our chances for health and safety.

Supporting local and regional artists, the Palace Theater fosters culture and community through programs such as Arts Together | Hamilton Conversations — with the participation of Colgate University faculty.
