The music department offers 30-minute and one-hour weekly lessons. Instruction Available Instruction is available in the following: Voice Piano Jazz piano Organ Violin Viola Cello Bass Jazz bass Flute Oboe Clarinet Bassoon French horn Trumpet Jazz trumpet Trombone Tuba Percussion Drums Saxophone Guitar Jazz guitar Lesson Fee There is a fee for private lessons, though students may receive a lesson fee award if participating in one of the following musical groups: Colgate University Orchestra Choral Ensembles Colgate Chamber Players Colgate University Concert Jazz Ensemble Music majors receive full lesson scholarship awards.
