We support tenure-track and tenured faculty at Colgate University to bring their interdisciplinary research ideas to light. With our major grants, you could receive a maximum of $150,000 for a maximum of two years.

Join us on this exciting journey of discovery and help expand the horizons of interdisciplinary research!

Project Scope

Your project should merge multiple disciplines to address a complex scientific challenge. The proposal must be scientifically sound and aim for significant contributions to the field. It should require expertise beyond what a single discipline can offer. While major projects usually last two years, we're open to especially ambitious projects with a shorter timeline.

Got an idea? You can discuss it with the Institute Director, Ahmet Ay, or any member of our Executive Advisory Committee.
