Thought Into Action
Entrepreneurship Institute

"The critical skills we teach in the liberal arts; to put issues in perspective, to understand disruption, to understand change; these are precisely the characteristics that distinguish entrepreneurs who must not only understand how things are, but how things might be."

— Colgate President Jeffrey Herbst

Thought Into Action (TIA) Entrepreneurship Institute serves as the umbrella in promoting entrepreneurial activities on campus that have engaged the multiple constituencies at Colgate — students, alumni, faculty, parents, friends, and administrators.
