Campus Safety is committed to maintaining the safety and security of the campus community in a caring, respectful, and professional manner.
Campus Safety actively prepares for, prevents, and responds to various safety and security situations on campus and actively builds community with our students. Our campus safety officers patrol the campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are the first responders during any campus emergency.
In addition to the above services, Campus Safety also provides motor vehicle assistance, personal safety escorts, and will assist with building and room lock outs when authorized. Call Campus Safety at 315-228-7333 for help.

Colgate (RAVE) Alerts
Students, and employees are encouraged to subscribe to the RAVE Alert system to receive important emergency or weather-related cancellation information via text, email, and phone.
The Colgate Guardian safety app is available to all students, staff, and faculty. This app provides a direct connection to campus safety contacts, anonymous tips, and a safety walk timer.
We want to hear from you about how we are doing — commend a campus safety staff member for outstanding service or professionalism, or report a concern regarding a Campus Safety employee.
