It is our pleasure to welcome the Director of Global Marketing for P&G, Lisa Hillenbrand '79
Read Lisa Hillenbrand's biography As Director of Global Marketing, Lisa Hillenbrand leads global brand building capability
initiatives for Procter & Gamble. She has been instrumental in leading numerous
breakthrough capability efforts including P&G’s Brand Building Framework.
Hillenbrand led the team that "re-engineered" P&G's company-wide brand building approach,
creating the Brand Building Framework. This framework has become the foundation for
how P&G approaches marketing. It flows from P&G's belief that the consumer is at the
center of all they do.
In 2004, Hillenbrand was elected Harley Procter Marketer by the company’s top
management. Those selected for this lifetime honor are recognized as the elite few
individuals (less than 10 out of 5,000+ marketers) who exemplify the highest standards of
marketing at P&G.
Hillenbrand has extensive global experience with assignments in Asia, Western Europe, and
North America. She has a BA from Colgate University, an MBA in Marketing and Finance
from Columbia University.
In addition to her professional position, Hillenbrand is an engaged community leader. She
serves on the Cincinnati Opera Board and its Marketing Committee. In 2012, she chaired
P&G’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer fundraiser. Hillenbrand leads marketing
training for Excel, Cincinnati’s non-profit executive development program sponsored by
Talbot House. She has consulted on marketing programs for Give Kids the World, Every
Child Succeeds, and the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative. She has two children.
