Campus Tour
The campus tour is a student-led walking tour which provides visitors with an inside look at the Colgate campus.

Overnight Visits
Explore campus for a day and night with a current student. An overnight visit gives you the chance to experience life on the Hill — attend a class, participate in extracurricular activities, eat in a dining hall, and meet with faculty.

Overnight visits are offered to high school seniors on select Sunday and Thursday evenings in the fall:
  • September 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30
  • October 21, 25
  • November 4, 8
Availability is limited. Registrations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made at least seven days in advance.
Class Visits
Join first-year and sophomore students in one of our core curriculum classes or another course of your choosing. A list of classes is available in the Office of Admission at registration.
Start your Saturday morning with an information session led by an admission officer and a current student. Following the information session, student-led campus tours will give you an inside look into student life at Colgate.

Registration for Saturday programs begins at 9:30 a.m. The information session begins at 10:00 a.m. Reservations are recommended.
  • September 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
  • October 6, 13, 20, 27
  • November 3, 10, 17
  • December 1
Informational Interviews
Non-evaluative informational interviews with a senior admission fellow or an admission officer allow you to learn more about Colgate in a one-on-one setting. This is not a formal assessment that affects the outcome of an application to Colgate; we want to hear about your interests, goals, and answer your questions about academics and student life.

Interviews are available Monday through Friday, from May of a student’s junior year through December of a student's senior year. It is recommended that you register at least three weeks in advance to ensure availability.
Alumni Interviews
If you are unable to visit our campus, we invite you to arrange an informational interview with a member of our alumni community. These informational conversations are available in many areas from September through January of a student’s senior year. E-mail or call 315-228-7401 for more information.
Group Visits
We welcome your group to Colgate’s campus throughout the year. Please use this form to schedule your visit.
