Sociology and Anthropology Resource Rooms

As a sociology and anthropology student, you have a couple of different rooms available to you as study, work, planning, and networking space.

The Resource Room, 430 Alumni Hall

The resource room, located on the fourth floor of Alumni Hall, is close to our SOAN faculty offices as well as the office of Karen Austin, our administrative assistant.

There are computer, printing, and scanning resources available to you if you are doing SOAN-related work. There are also faculty mailboxes and counters where faculty collect or leave materials for students.

The SOAN Lounge, 434 Alumni Hall

The lounge has comfortable reading chairs and a table for you to do work. Professors may place books, course reading packets, or additional required readings for classes in the resource room. See our SOAN administrative assistant, Karen Austin, to sign out these materials.

The lounge also contains information for students from graduate schools about their sociology and anthropology programs.
