Provides up to $25,000 to fund undergraduate study abroad programs in Boren-preferred countries and languages.

Final deadline: February

Candidates must:

  • Apply to a study abroad program with a language study component in a Boren-supported country/language, and plan to continue language study after your return
  • Have academic and career goals which resonate with Boren's emphasis on US national security and/or international affairs
  • Be a US citizen

NB: All Boren Scholarship applicants must be in contact with the Boren Campus Representative, Dean Steve Wright, well in advance of February so that he can both provide advice to help you write a strong application, and have the time to produce a formal evaluation of all applications prior to the final deadline.
