A funded life sciences summer research opportunity for undergraduate students. No prior research experience is necessary to apply for the Amgen Scholarship program.

Candidates must:
- Be U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents
- Be undergraduate students enrolled in accredited four-year colleges or universities in the United States, Puerto Rico, or other U.S. territories
- Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or above
- Have an interest in pursuing a Ph.D. or M.D.-Ph.D
