Colgate accepts a number of payment methods for student account balances. Learn more about each option below.
1. Electronic (ACH) Payments
Students and families enter their personal bank account and routing information into a “Saved Payment Method” for secure, fast and easy electronic payments to their student account. Families can also designate their Saved Payment Method as a refund account, for quick and easy account refunds when/if they become available.
Available via TouchNet. Click “make payment”, then select the Electronic (ACH) payment option.
2. Credit Card Payments
Touchnet’s PayPath option allows students and families to make payment with all major credit cards. Processing fees (non-Colgate) apply.
Available via TouchNet. Click “make payment”, then select the Credit Card via PayPath payment option.
3. Bank Wire
Colgate University and Convera have partnered through TouchNet to provide a convenient way for you to make payments for your tuition and other fees. Domestic and international* wire transfer options allow you to pay in your home currency, either online or by bank transfer, with competitive exchange rates. External (non-Colgate) fees apply.
Available via TouchNet. Click “make payment”, then select the Bank Wire payment option.
*Additional international bank wire options are below in number 5.
4. Payments by Check; 529 Plan; and Third-Party (Scholarships, Employer Tuition Benefits, etc.)

5. International Bank Transfer
We offer three options for international bank transfer payments: Flywire, PayMyTuition, and Convera.
Flywire
Colgate University has partnered with Flywire to streamline the tuition and fee payment process to provide you with an easy and secure method of sending international payments. With Flywire, you can pay from any country and any bank. You are offered excellent foreign exchange rates, allowing you to pay in your home currency (in most cases) and save a significant amount of money, as compared to traditional banks. You will be able to track where your payment is in the transfer process via a student dashboard and an email confirmation will be sent to you when your payment is received by the school. You will also receive peace of mind with dedicated multilingual customer support.
PayMyTuition
For international payments, Colgate University has partnered with PayMyTuition. PayMyTuition is an easy-to-use, safe, and seamless solution that allows international students to pay their tuition and fees in their local currency from any bank, in any country, at better than bank exchange rates.
Students can now efficiently make a payment with PayMyTuition to fund all their invoices and tuition-related fees.
Convera
Colgate University and Convera have partnered through TouchNet to provide a convenient way for you to make payments for your tuition and other fees. This allows you to pay in your home currency, either online or by bank transfer, with competitive exchange rates.
Available via TouchNet. Click “make payment”, then select the Bank Wire payment option.
6. Cash Payments
Cash payments can be made in person at the Colgate cashier's window.
