Hamilton, NY — The Colgate women’s hockey team dominated Vermont by outshooting the Catamounts 44-8, but could not get one past Kami Cote and settled for a 0-0 overtime tie. It marks the first team in history the Raiders have skated to a scoreless tie.
Colgate outshot the Catamounts 14-1 in the first period, 11-4 in the second and 19-3 over the third period and overtime, but could not come up with the game-winner.
Rebecca Lahar made eight saves, while Cote made 44 saves for the shutouts. Both teams finished 0-4 on the power-play.
The Raiders now 15-14-3 overall and 6-10-1 in the ECAC play host to Dartmouth on Sunday, March 7, at 2 p.m.
