The game was much closer than the score indicated as Dartmouth held a one-goal advantage until the 15:48 mark of the third period when Katie Weatherston scored a power-play goal to put away Colgate.
The Raiders sent off seniors Katie Breen, Caitlin Hornyak and Avery McGlenn who played in their final game at Starr Rink.

The Big Green jumped out to a 1-0 advantage with a short-handed goal at 5:40 of the first period by Meagan Walton. Cherie Piper assisted on the goal for Dartmouth. Gillian Apps made it 2-0 with her 21st goal of the season on a nice play set up by Tiffany Hagge.
Colgate closed the gap to 2-1 with a goal by Maura Kehoe at 7:40 of the second period. Carly McNaughton and Cheryl Setchell assisted on the goal, which is the eighth for Kehoe this season.
Weatherston then scored to make it 3-1 and added an empty-netter to set the final.
Rebecca Lahar made 26 stops in net for the Raiders, while Stephanie Cochran turned aside 19 shots for the Big Green.
The Raiders finish the regular season at 15-15-3 overall and a 6-11-1 mark in the ECAC. Colgate finished the season as the seventh seed and travels to St. Lawrence to face the Saints in a best of three series beginning Friday, March 12 at 7 p.m.
