When I finally wake up, it’s later than I thought, and I look out to see nothing but a blanket of white with flashes of brown and gray, and I think that today might be a good day to read at the Barge Coffee Shop downtown or to go to the gym longer than forty minutes, go cross-country skiing on the trails, club sports practice, I think there is a hockey game later tonight, dinner beforehand downtown, but there is a Take Two movie playing at seven and some people are going to see that, and I should do homework, spend some time at the library as the snow continues to fall’and then I tell myself that it can wait a few hours because eating brunch in my pajamas with ten other people who are also in their pajamas takes precedence right now.
Sundays at Colgate.
