BETHLEHEM, PA ‘ Colgate first baseman Danielle Soule (Glendale, CA) has been named the softball Freshman of the Week in the Patriot League for the second straight week.
She helped Colgate to a pair of victories over Bucknell on Saturday, 4-2 and 10-4. The Raiders lost four games to the weather last week.
Soule was 2-for-7 in the doubleheader against Bucknell with two doubles and two RBI. She was 1-for-3 with an RBI in the 4-2 win, and 1-for-4 at the plate with an RBI in the second game, extending her hitting streak to five straight games.
Soule handled 18 fielding chances without an error last week for the 23-7 Raiders, who are in first place in the Patriot League.
