Golfweek magazine has once again named Seven Oaks Golf Course one of the best campus golf courses in the nation. The magazine placed Seven Oaks 22nd on the list.
The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones in 1934, but wasn’t actually built until 1958. The second nine was completed and open for play in September of 1965.
Seven Oaks is characteristic of all Jones’s courses, which include strategic deployment of water, along with extensive tee areas and large, expansive greens. Even though it is recognized as a university course, Seven Oaks is open to the public and memberships are available.
