Hamilton, NY — – On Friday, November 9, Colgate University senior Christy Visaggi will present a voice recital of works in three languages, spanning three centuries. The program will consist of compositions by Pergolesi, Telemann, Rossini, Herbert, Lehar, Mahler, Bernstein, and others. The concert, which will take place in Colgate Memorial Chapel at 8:00 p.m., is open to the public; admission is free. Visaggi has studied with Neva Pilgrim, Colgate’s voice artist-in-residence, for two years. A geology concentrator, Visaggi is general manager of the Student Musical Theater Company, vice president of membership and new member educator of her sorority, Delta Delta Delta, and a head lifeguard at the Colgate pool. Visaggi also recently aided in founding a new a cappella singing group at Colgate, of which she is co-director.
