CAPE COD, Mass. – Junior goaltender Rebecca Lahar (Vienna, Va.) earned her second-straight ECAC women’s hockey Goaltender of the Week Award after posting 31 saves in two contests at Maine.
Lahar made 15 saves in a 2-2 tie against the Black Bears on Saturday. It marked the first time Colgate had not been defeated by Maine. Lahar upped her record to 4-0-1 with the draw.
On Sunday, Lahar made 16 saves in a 2-1 loss to the Black Bears. It marked the sixth-straight game that Lahar has not allowed more than 2 goals.
Lahar is currently 4-1-1 for the season and holds a 1.64 goals against average. Her save percentage stands at .928 through six contests.
The Raiders return home Friday, October 31, for a Halloween night contest against Wayne State at 7 p.m.
