Sophomore running back Nate Eachus ran for 98 yards and two touchdowns as the No. 23-ranked Colgate Raiders defeated Princeton 21-14 in double overtime on ESPNU. Eachus scored on a pair of two-yard touchdown runs in both the first and second overtime periods.
The game was a battle of wills, as both defenses played spectacular football. Colgate held Princeton scoreless for over 50 minutes before Princeton quarterback Tommy Wornham threw a 31-yard touchdown pass to Trey Peacock with 9:45 remaining in the fourth quarter, tying the game 7-7.
On the other side, the Princeton defense did not allow a Colgate runner to reach over 100 yards. It marks only the second time since 2006 that a Colgate runner did not reach the century mark in rushing yards.
