Hamilton, NY — The Colgate volleyball team was selected to finish sixth in the Patriot League according to a preseason poll of the league’s coaches and sports information directors.
American was pegged as the preseason favorite after going undefeated in conference play last season. Lehigh, Army, Bucknell, and Navy followed American in the poll while Holy Cross and Lafayette followed Colgate to round out the preseason rankings.
The Raiders open their season Friday at the Canisius Invitational against Cleveland State at 1:00 p.m. The team then faces Canisius in the nightcap at 8:00 p.m.
