For many Colgate students and professors, breaks offer a chance to travel and learn. Join professors Lesleigh Cushing and Eliza Kent on Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. for a brown bag lunch featuring their travels over winter break.
Professor Cushing led the student trip to Jerusalem as part of the Sophomore Residential Seminars program, and Professor Kent will give a presentation on her trip to Ethiopia titled “Interdisciplinary Study of Church Forests in Ethiopia.”
Stop in at 305 Lawrence for a good lunch and to hear these exciting travel experiences! For more information, go here.
On Thursday night at 8:30, the Breast Cancer Awareness Coalition and Phi Kappa Tau will be hosting the BCAC Party for Pink! All proceeds from this party will go to the Young Survival Coalition, an organization that aids and supports young breast cancer survivors both financially and emotionally.
With musical performance by Colgate’s a capella group the Swinging Gates and a cash bar for those of age, Party for Pink is sure to be a great time for a great cause!
Come down to the Palace Theatre this weekend to see your friends and classmates perform in Spring Cabaret 2014, a production at Colgate every semester.
Featuring a diverse cast from all corners of campus brought together through a love of singing, acting, and musical theater, this semester’s show will include a variety of songs from musicals, Glee, and other popular tunes.
You have two chances to catch the show so be sure not to miss it. Stop by the Palace Theater at 7 p.m. Friday or Saturday to see fellow students taking the stage.
