The Raiders have three starters returning from last year’s squad that finished 14-14, and tied for second place in the Patriot League standings.  For the second straight season, Colgate has been picked to finish third in the Patriot League in a vote of the coaches and sports information directors.

The returning starters are seniors Mark Linebaugh and Howard Blue, and junior Andrew Zidar.  Linebaugh was Colgate’s leading scorer last season with 13.1 points per game, while Blue averaged 12.5 ppg and 6.6 rpg.  Both were preseason all-Patriot League selections.

This is the 23rd meeting between Colgate and Princeton with the Tigers leading the overall series, 17-5.  The last meeting between these two non-conference foes came in 1988-89 with the Tigers winning 43-33 at Jadwin Gym.
