Each senior’s experience at Colgate is different, though many share a common thread: they selected and pursued opportunities the university offers that fueled their specific interests, both inside and outside of the classroom.
You can see how members of the Class of 2010 have translated these opportunities into jobs, fellowships, and graduate school acceptances on this Google map.
Personal profiles and photos are available on the map, and eight seniors are highlighted through videos. There are nearly 200 seniors listed, with more to come as graduates finalize their plans after considering all their options.
By viewing the map you can learn about students such as:
— Eli Raffeld, of Newton, Mass., a philosophy major, who will be working for the Nagano Trading Co. in Tokyo.
— Nicole la Hausse de Lalouviere, of Tamarin, Mauritius, will be pursuing a master’s degree in architecture at the University of British Columbia. She is an art and art history major.
— English major Matthew Muskin, of New York City, will be working for the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.
— Jacqueline Stimmel, of Saratoga Springs. N.Y., will be an operations analyst for Viridian Energy in Stamford, Conn. She majored in environmental geography.
All seniors and their achievements will be celebrated this Sunday at the university’s 189th commencement, which begins at 10:30 a.m. More information is available here.
