Barrett set records and climbed up the career charts at Colgate in 2003. Her 17 goals and 43 points this season are the best marks ever at Colgate. She is currently fifth all-time in goals with 35, third all-time in assists with 25, and third in career points with 95.
Barrett is joined on the first team by sophomore Carolyn Warhaftig (
Kroll is honored after turning in a stellar rookie campaign. The defender started all 19 of Colgate’s matches and helped anchor a defense that allowed just 0.93 goals per game this season. She helped Colgate allow a league-low three goals in Patriot League matches and 18 in all matches.
The Raiders also had two second-team members in Kelly Kuss (Warners, N.Y.) and Kyle Koch (
Kuss earns second team honors after her best season at Colgate. The sophomore front-liner tallied 11 goals, seven assists and 29 points, good for second place on Colgate’s squad. She finished in the top 10 in all of the offensive categories in the league as well. With her 19 career goals, she is tied for 14th on Colgate’s all-time list.
Koch makes it two Raider defenders on this year’s team. The junior started all 19 matches and assisted on two scores. Her play as the last defender in front of the goalkeeper helped Colgate to allow its fewest goals in a season since 1993 when the Raiders gave up 17 scores.
