ENDICOTT, N.Y.The Colgate golf team concluded its fall season Sunday with a 10th place finish out of 11 teams at the NBT Bank Collegiate Classic at Enjoie Golf Course Sunday.
Binghamton won its own tournament with a two-day score of 595, narrowly edging out Central Connecticut State University by two strokes.
Binghamton Green took third with a score of 606 while Siena placed fourth with a 606. St. Bonaventure finished fifth with a 613 and Laval University and Canisius tied for sixth at 616. Cornell was eighth at 618 and Fordham finished ninth with a 636. Ottawa rounded out the field with a 642.
Binghamton’s Joe Kunz won top honors with a 145 on rounds of 73 and 72. Colgate’s top finisher was Dave Policano who tied for 13th with a 152 on rounds of 76 and 76. Taylor Rodgers tied for 34th with a 159 for 15-over par. Charlie Sahlman tied for 48th with a 163 for 19-over par and Sean Cusick tied for 50th with a 164 for 20-over par. Sam Gersten finished 53rd with a 167 for 23-over par and Mike Chase rounded out the Raiders with a 169 for 25-over par.
