Hamilton, NY — The Colgate Raiders (10-13, PL 5-5) will be looking for their first regular season sweep over Navy (6-17, PL 2-8) since the 1992-93 season, when they play host to the Midshipmen on Friday night at Cotterell Court. Tip-off is 9 p.m.
The Colgate-Navy game will be televised live by Time Warner Cable ‘ Channel-13 in Syracuse, New York.
The Raiders will close their home schedule on Sunday, while playing host to American University at 3:15 p.m.
Colgate is in a three-way tie for fourth place in the Patriot League standings, while Navy is two games behind the Raiders in seventh place.
Colgate enters the 32nd meeting with Navy with a two-game winning streak over the Mids. Earlier this season, the Raiders defeated Navy 53-48 at Annapolis. In that first Navy game, Howard Blue scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds to pace the Colgate attack. Mark Linebaugh added 13 points and Dave Hardy tallied 11 for the Raiders.
