‘The Children of Abraham after September 11’ Presented at Colgate

Hamilton, NY — On Monday, March 31, Peter Ochs, Edgar Bronfman Professor of Jewish Studies at the University of Virginia, will present ‘The Children of Abraham after September 11,’ the third lecture in the ‘Faith at the Crossroads’ series. Also sponsored by the department of Jewish Studies’ Lautenberg Lecture Series, this event will be held in the Ho Lecture Room in Lawrence Hall at 7:30 p.m. Ochs is the author of ‘Peace, Pragmatism, and the Logic of Scripture’ and ‘Christianity in Jewish Terms.’

On Sunday, March 30, at 7:30 p.m., the department of Jewish studies will host Vanessa Ochs, the Ida and Nathan Kolodiz Director of Jewish Studies and an associate professor of religious studies at the University of Virginia. Ochs will be presenting ‘Jewish Dream Interpretation’ in the Saperstein Center. Ochs is the author of ‘Words on Fire.’
