Danielle Soule (Glendale, CA) and Nichole Rawson (Palmdale, CA) had two hits apiece for the Raiders.

In the opener, Colgate jumped out to a 4-1 lead after three innings.  The Raiders scored twice in the first inning on Dorothy Donaldson’s (Lakeland, FL) RBI single and Natalie Rawson’s (Palmdale, CA) RBI ground out.

Colgate added a single run in the second inning on Bri Tsukamoto’s fielder’s choice that plated Kim Olmstead (Spring Hill, FL), who opened the frame with a single.  After Army scored its first run in the top of the third, Donaldson blasted her eighth home run of the season for a 4-1 lead.

Army tied the game in fourth inning on Lauren Gobar’s three-run homer, but Colgate retook the lead in the bottom of the inning on Rachel Smith’s (Annandale, VA) RBI single.  The Raiders went ahead 6-4 in the fifth inning when Donaldson drove in Nichole Rawson, who had doubled.  Donaldson finished 3-for-3 with four RBI.

Army won the game with five runs in the sixth inning on Lindsay Gerheim’s three-run homer and Lindsay March’s two-run single.  Colgate added one final run in the sixth on an intentional walk to Donaldson with the bases loaded.
