Hamilton, NY — Colgate University President Rebecca Chopp and Provost and Dean of the Faculty Jack Dovidio invite the Colgate and Hamilton area communities to the Second Annual Snowball Dance from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. on Friday, December 6, in Colgate’s Hall of Presidents in the Student Union Building.
Guests will dance to Red Raville’s Big Band Sounds. Red formed his popular 15-piece central New York band in 1986. Their repertoire includes a wide variety of dance tunes, including big band music from the ’30s and ’40s.
Dance instruction will be provided from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Dress for the event is casual, and refreshments will be served. Admission is free, although donations will be accepted on behalf of the Hamilton Community Chest.
