Upcoming Educational Modules

Back to Messages to New Students

At Colgate, we believe in the importance of creating a safe and healthy environment for all of our community members. We have partnered with Vector Solutions to provide the following trainings:

  • AlcoholEdu
  • Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates (SAPU)

These training sessions help us all to be informed on topics that are vital to achieving a safe and healthy community. The trainings are interactive and were developed using best practice. They cover a variety of important issues related to sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking, sexual harassment, bystander intervention, substance use and misuse, harm reduction, and campus policies and resources.

Begin Required Courses

Please complete the AlcoholEdu and SAPU courses by August 14, scoring a minimum of 80% on the assessments. Completion of these courses is required as part of your role as a new student at Colgate University.

Below you will find a few resources and helpful hints that may be useful as you work through the training modules.

  • Make sure that you take the trainings when you have sufficient time and a place where you can focus.
  • Take notes, as you might, for an in-person course.
  • Work at your own pace from any computer or tablet.
  • Courses will save your progress if you need to stop and return later.
  • Courses are best supported by the latest versions of Chrome (preferred), Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge.
  • If you have difficulty with the Vector LMS platform, please contact itshelp@colgate.edu.
