The Pets of History: Molly and Daisy

Back to History News and Updates

Meet Molly Caroline Loomis Hall and Daisy Rita Gorbachev Loomis. They are frenemies and have a negotiated peace agreement to share the sunny spot.

Daisy was rescued as a kitten in a parking lot in Hartford, Connecticut, and Molly spent her formative years as a stray in the badlands of west Texas. Daisy enjoys Russian history, grooming herself, killing mice, and growling. Molly enjoys tennis balls, watching rabbits from the window, hanging out with her friend Bear Roller, and learning about her western homelands from her adoptive father, Professor Ryan Hall.
