Semester Programs
Colgate’s Office of Off-Campus Study provides full-semester academic opportunities around the world. Travel, live, and study with Colgate classmates and a Colgate faculty adviser while immersing yourself in new cultures.
The Department of Geography co-sponsors, with the Environmental Studies Program, a semester-long study group at the University of Wollongong (UoW) in Australia during both the fall and spring semesters.
An exchange program with UoW allows select Colgate and UoW students to pursue comparative research in American and Australian contexts. Exchange students work with Colgate and UoW faculty to produce research — worthy of professional publication — in both social and environmental geography.
In addition, Colgate is directly affiliated with several off-campus study programs run by other institutions.
