Nia McDow, Area Director, July 1, 2020
McDow was the assistant complex director at the University of Kansas. She received her BA in English education 7-12 from Buffalo State College and her MSE from the University of Kansas in curriculum and instruction. She loves reading, watching movies, and playing sports on the weekend. She also enjoys playing with her dog after work. Her partner’s name is Michael.
Douglas Chiarello, Assistant Dean for Administrative Advising, July 6, 2020
Chiarello has been at Colgate for 22 years. His most recent appointment was associate vice president for advancement/campaign director, interim vice president for advancement. He has also worked in admission and alumni relations. Chiarello received his BA in psychology/music from Colgate University and his MEd in higher education from Harvard Graduate School of Education. He is an avid reader and sports fan. Chiarello is also a pop culture/entertainment enthusiast, trivia lover, and Star Wars nerd. His spouse’s name is Thirza Morreale and they have three children.
Jacob Dunwiddie, Area Director, July 13, 2020
Dunwiddie was the assistant residence director at the University of Vermont. He received his BS in early childhood education from Kent State University and his MSEd in higher education and student affairs from the University of Vermont. He enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
Evelyn Lester, Director of Disability Services, July 13, 2020
Lester was the director for the office of disability services at SUNY Polytechnic Institute. She enjoys animal advocacy and reading. She is a board member of Kindred Spirits Dog Adoption, Inc. in Clinton, N.Y. Her spouse’s name is Joseph Burnham and they have two sons.
Jessica Pearce, Program Coordinator, Office of Undergraduate Studies, July 13, 2020
Pearce was the office manager at TicketManager and LA Rams. She graduated from Colgate University in 2018. She loves to travel, eat good food, take photos, and edit videos. She also loves watching basketball, football, and going to concerts.
