Rebecca Mendelsohn

Mendelsohn was a postdoctoral fellow (Sylvan C. Coleman and Pam Coleman Memorial Fund Fellowship) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She received her BA in 2008 from Dickinson College and MA in 2011 and PhD in 2017 from the University at Albany, SUNY. She enjoys yoga, good food and her border collie, JoJo. Her partner’s name is Tyler James.
Dorsey Spencer, Jr.

Spencer was the director of administration in the office of the vice president for student affairs at Florida State University (FSU). He earned a bachelor’s degree at Temple University, a master’s degree from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and a PhD from FSU. He is actively involved in several professional organizations; has presented at conferences; and has published on topics related to leadership learning, student engagement, and diversity, inclusion, and equity. Within the Tallahassee, Florida, community, he was a mentor for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Big Bend and served as a community catalyst as a part of Knight Creative Communities Institute. Spencer has earned awards for his work at the American University of Nigeria and FSU, and was named a top 20 Under 40 Young Professional by the Tallahassee Network of Young Professionals in 2019.
