Colgate EAP Resources

BRiDGES EAP is a workplace benefit that provides assessment, referral, and short-term counseling to employees and their immediate family members. All callers will receive up to five free sessions per issue per year with an EAP professional for confidential support. 

BRiDGES is available by phone Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 315-697-3947.  In-person, virtual, and phone sessions are available by appointment.  

Should you need assistance after 5 p.m. you can still call  BRiDGES at 315-697-3947. You may leave a message and your call will be returned during regular business hours. Evening appointments are available by appointment only. In the event of a crisis Behavioral Health Telemedicine through Excellus and HigherED EAP are available 24/7, please see below to contact them. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911.

HigherEd EAP offers 24/7 access to counselors, links, tools, and resources to help higher education personnel deal with professional challenges. To access this benefit, call the EAP at 1-800-252-4555 or log on to the website.

Behavioral Telemedicine (for those enrolled in Colgate’s health insurance plan), through a partnership with MDLIVE, allows you to schedule a consultation with a psychiatrist or therapist 24/7 via phone, tablet, or computer — wherever and whenever you need to. No 20% coinsurance imposed.

Madison County Mental Health Department (315-366-2327, option 1), The mental health department offers a crisis line 24 hours a day. You can call 315-366-2327 and press 1. During business hours, this line goes to office staff, where clients may ask to speak to an available clinician. Individuals are also seen at the office on an emergency, walk-in basis.


Retirement Planning

Fidelity 
Virtual Fidelity appointments can be scheduled online (search Colgate University and virtual appointments) or by calling 800-642-7131.

Appointments are available on the following dates:

New Retirement Participant with Fidelity? Create your NetBenefits online account. 
     Go to NetBenefits and click “Register as a new user.” 
     Follow the instructions to set your unique username and password. 
     Then log in to see the features of your Colgate University Defined Contribution Retirement Plan account. 
     (Remember: Don’t reuse passwords and avoid weak, commonly used passwords.)
     The NetBenefits interactive demo lets you customize your experience. 
     You can select a topic for more information when prompted, or you can watch the demo from start to finish and then learn more.

Virtual TIAA appointments can be scheduled online or by calling 800-732-8353.

2025 CUWell

The 2024–2025 Program Year Began December 1, 2024. 
The enhanced and more personalized program offers you more choices in how to engage in your well-being and earn rewards. Colgate University will continue to offer the incentive of $300 on a flexible spending account as long as you earn 300 points by 11/30/2025. 

Virgin Pulse Is Personify Health
Starting December 16, the app name will change to Personify Health and the Virgin Pulse icon will change to the brand mark Percy. 
The Virgin Pulse logo, colors, and fonts will be replaced with the fun, new Personify Health brand as of December 30 — both online and within the app. Keep an eye out for Percy.

Excellus BlueCard for International Travel
Traveling over the winter break, utilize the Excellus BlueCard program for all your medical needs. BlueCard is a national program that allows BlueCross BlueShield members to obtain health care services while traveling or living in another BlueCross BlueShield service area. 2024 1095-C forms will be available through the Online Benefit System in the Colgate portal by March 2, 2025.

  • Log in to Virgin Pulse through the CUWell website; sign in on the Colgate Portal
  • Select Benefits at the top of the page 
  • Select View All
  • Scroll down to select LabCorp
  • Select Start Now 
  • Select Continue under Onsite Screening
  • Select Colgate University under location in the Search box
  • Under Date: select the calendar icon to scroll through the year- all scheduled dates are highlighted with a green dot
  • Select your date 
  • Select your time and specific time slot
  • Select Schedule Appointment
