Daniel Bateman began on June 14 as senior regional advancement director. Daniel received his bachelor of science in business at SUNY Oswego and his master of science in management at Keuka College. He was previously employed at Syracuse University as director of development. He is a fitness enthusiast, dedicated father and husband, is on the BOD for Heaven for the Homeless, and enjoys spending time with his wife, Jackie, and children Alec and Nathan.
Carrie Becher began on July 17 as an accommodated testing center proctor. Carrie received her bachelor of art with honors in political science from Dickinson College. She was previously employed at Dickinson College as an access and disability services student proctor and peer mentor. She enjoys rock climbing, gardening, cooking, volunteering with animals, and spending time with her recently adopted cat.
Ethan Billman began on July 5 as area director for Ciccone Commons. Ethan received his master’s in natural resource conservation management. He was previously employed at Paul Smith’s College as a graduate assistant. He enjoys skydiving, spending time with his partner, Kimberly Doyle, and their 3-year-old dog, Hunter.
Ian Carey began on July 5 as an electronic resource and serials paraprofessional. Ian received his bachelor of art in history and social sciences from Eastern Connecticut State University. He was previously employed at Otis Library (Norwich, Conn.) as a technical services assistant. He enjoys bicycling, golf, swimming, listening to vinyl records, and hiking.
Bre Eldridge began on July 10 as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. Bre received her master’s in human performance. She was previously employed at Army West Point as a strength and conditioning coach. She enjoys playing soccer, the outdoors, watching sports, exploring new areas, and spending time with her dog, Mylie.
Catherine Gouge began on June 20 as a senior regional advancement director. Catherine attended Whittier College. She was previously employed at Columbia Business School as an associate director of major gifts. She enjoys water polo, swimming, and traveling.
Zoe Haines began on August 1 as a human resources associate. Zoe received her bachelor’s in psychology with minors in HR and business management from St. John Fisher University. She loves to go on hikes, paddle board, spend time on Keuka Lake, and has a cat named Coco.
Mike Harder began on June 5 as the head coach for men’s ice hockey. Mike graduated from Colgate in 1997. He was previously employed at Reno Ice. He enjoys animal rescue and spending time with his wife, Dana, and dogs Teddy and Gracie.
Angela “Angie” Hollar began on June 11 as resident program coordinator, Chapel House and Great Religions Fund. Angie received her master of social work from the University of Pennsylvania, master of divinity from the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University, and her bachelor of arts from Saint Mary’s College in Indiana. She was previously employed as a rector of a residence hall at the University of Notre Dame. She enjoys playing billiards, reading, and learning to play the banjo.
Ethan Kenney began on July 17 as assistant women’s basketball coach. Ethan attended the University of Michigan. He previously held the position of director of women’s basketball operations at Colgate. He enjoys playing video games.
Beth Kropf began on May 30 as assistant director of new student programs. Beth received her bachelor’s in psychology from Gannon University and her master’s in college student personnel from Bowling Green State University. She enjoys yoga, reading, coffee shops, reality TV, and Buffalo Bills football.
Judson “Judd” Lattimore began on July 17 as an assistant men’s lacrosse coach. Judd received his bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was previously employed at Boston University, Holy Cross, UPenn, Michigan, Bucknell, and UNC. He enjoys surfing and spending time with his wife, Bonnie, son Clarke, and daughter Alden.
Josh Miller began on May 22 as an associate director of athletics fundraising and engagement. Josh received his bachelor’s degree from St. Lawrence University and his master’s from Alfred University. He enjoys watching sports, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Brittany, son EJ, and dog Lou.
Pamela “Pam” Gallagher Mingle ’91 began on July 24 as a director of major gifts. Pam received her bachelor’s degree from Colgate, and attended NYU, Tisch School of the Arts, ’95. She was previously employed as senior director of development at Rider University. She enjoys fly-fishing, hiking, needlepoint, gardening, and spending time with her husband, Ronald Forrester, and children Jack Mingle, Cole Mingle, Danny Forrester, Jack Forrester, and Josh Forrester.
Tina Pobocek began on July 17 in mail services. Tina was previously employed as a mail clerk with the USPS. She enjoys reading, watching movies, walking, cooking, and spending time with her husband, Keith, daughter Cassandra, and corgi Scout.
Ew “E.W.” or “E-Dub” Quimbaya-Winship began on June 20 as an investigator, title IX and harassment/discrimination, with the Office of Equity and Diversity. E.W. received his master’s in theatre (with a focus on interactive social, political, and educational theatre) from Missouri State University. He was previously employed at UNC-Chapel Hill as an investigator in their equal opportunity and compliance office.
Christine “Christy” Reed began on July 5 as a mental health counselor. Christy received her master of science in clinical mental health counseling. She was previously employed as a mental health coordinator at a community mental health center. She enjoys camping, hiking, performing arts, running, fitness, and spending time with her husband, Ryan, and her 8-year-old collie mix, Indiana.
Damon Sherman-Newsome began on July 1 as director of men’s basketball operations. Damon was in the Class of 2015 at Colgate. He was previously employed as a student success coach at Anchorage School District. He enjoys working out and spending time with his wife, Chanel, and children Zhuri and Oriana.
