Award winners come from across campus and were selected from more than 150 individual nominations. It is thanks to the excellence and dedication of our staff that Colgate has managed to undertake a transformation unlike anything attempted in more than 200 years, all while seamlessly continuing to support ground-breaking innovation and education in our classrooms and laboratories. This is a special one-time award to a group of Colgate community members whose work is often unrecognized even though it absolutely essential for the functioning of our University. As a department, these employees work without cease through pandemics, winter closings, and more, making it possible for our educational mission to continue uninterrupted. All members of the SEIU Local 200 Facilities Unit will receive $100 and a vacation day.
