Theresa Alessio began on August 22 as an assistant women’s rowing coach. Theresa received her BFA in film from Syracuse University and her master of science, exercise science, from SUNY Cortland. She enjoys hiking with her dog, Lucy, and spending time with her niece and nephew.
Austin “AJ” Beers began on August 22 as an advancement researcher. AJ graduated from Colgate University in 2022 with a double major in applied mathematics and mathematical economics. He enjoys playing video games and spending time with his family.
Dennis “Okami” Bonilla began on September 15 as an operations assistant in admission. Okami was previously employed as a customer liaison with California Closets and a sales specialist at Verizon. He graduated from Mott Hall V, Bronx, N.Y., and is currently pursuing his real estate license. He enjoys basketball, Marvel comics, watching TV, and spending time with his partner, Dayna Campbell, and his son, Okami.
Michael Hirst began on August 9 as a residential area director. Michael was previously a television producer. He received his BA in broadcasting and mass communication from SUNY Oswego. He enjoys cars, music, and piano.
Jordan Hogan began on May 31 as an assistant football coach. Jordan was previously employed by the Arizona Cardinals as an offensive assistant, QBs. He enjoys basketball, working out, pickleball, and spending time with his wife, Kayla, and daughter, Mara Ann.
Nicole “Nikki” Jenkins began on August 22 as an IT project manager. Nikki was previously employed by Chobani. She enjoys camping at the lake, fostering dogs while their military owners are deployed overseas, being secretary of the Sherburne Fire Dept. Auxiliary, reading science fiction books, and spending time with her husband, Michael, and dogs, Mya and Dook.
Trey Montgomery began on June 1 as an assistant coach for men’s basketball. Trey was previously an assistant men’s basketball coach at University of Pennsylvania. He has his BA from Samford University. He enjoys watching boxing and soccer, listening to podcasts, and spending time with friends and his wife, Kala, and sons, Traycen and Klay, and their cat, Donna Jo.
Brandon Noga began on September 26 as an assistant dean of admission. Brandon was previously employed as an assistant director of admission at Utica University. He received his MA in sociology from the University at Buffalo. He enjoys watching sports, playing golf, and spending time with friends and family, including his wife, Chelby, and daughter, Raegan.
Teresa Piersma began on September 12 as a custodian. Teresa was previously employed as an RTS inspector at Champion Home Builders. She graduated from Madison Central School and enjoys cooking, kayaking, and spending time with family, including her sons, Bradley and Brett.
Rebecca “Becca” Pitcher began on August 23 as an academic department coordinator of philosophy, Jewish studies, and linguistics. Becca was previously employed by Flaum Eye Institute as an outpatient access specialist. She enjoys reading, cooking, baking, and spending time with her fiance, Andrew, cat, Ino, and dog, Bizzy.
Cheryl Pushlar began on September 19, as a transfer services data specialist. Cheryl previously worked in the registrar’s office at SUNY Morrisville. She enjoys gardening, quilting, and spending time with her husband, Philip.
Rachel Richie began on August 15 as assistant director for career exploration programming. Rachel was previously employed at The Kelberman Center as assistant director of community services. She received her BA in human development from SUNY Oswego and is working on her MS in rehabilitation counseling at SUNY Buffalo. She enjoys traveling, socializing, reading, and spending time with her fiance Zachary, and cat, Gunther.
Piper Robinson began on August 17 as an admission counselor. Piper graduated from Colgate University in 2022 with a degree in psychological brain sciences and peace and conflict studies. She enjoys listening to music, sudoku, going on adventures, and spending time with her cats, Duck and Goose.
Megan Shaffer began on August 8 as an assistant swim and dive coach. Megan was previously employed as an assistant swim coach at Franklin and Marshall University. She attended Susquehanna University and enjoys reading.
