Archaeology of West Asia, Early Bronze Age, early urbanism, foodways, household archaeology, legacy collections research
Current Research
My research is focused on the archaeology of everyday life in some of the earliest urban settlements in the southern Levant (Jordan, Israel, Palestine, southern Lebanon, southern Syria). I am interested in how past people built and maintained early urban communities through their daily practices, especially those related to food production, preparation, storage, and consumption. My research encompasses both archaeological fieldwork and working with legacy collections in museums.
