Directions to campus

Demand Response Shuttle

The university has established the Demand Response Shuttle Service to help visitors using the transportation facilities in Syracuse and Utica get to campus easily and safely. Call them at 315-824-1260 (choose option five or extension 232).

Traveling by bus

There is regular Shortline/Coach USA bus service from campus to Nw York City and other destinations. Adirondack and Greyhound service is accessible from Utica, Syracuse, and Binghamton.

Traveling by plane

Regularly scheduled commercial airline service is available at the Syracuse airport, which is the closest major airport to campus. The Hamilton Municipal Airport is just north of campus and is used by those with private planes.

Traveling by train

Amtrak train service to New York City, Boston, Chicago, and other major cities is available through the Utica train station.

Student Travel Agency

The agency, in the O'Connor Campus Center (Coop), offers discounted tickets for buses to New York City, Utica, Binghamton, and other destinations. During breaks, shuttle tickets to and from the Syracuse airport also are available. LEARN MORE

Alumni Club buses

The Colgate alumni clubs of Long Island and of Boston offer students direct bus service during vacation periods. The clubs individually organize the bus schedules and handle payments.

Electric vehicle charging station

There is a Level 2 ChargePoint station compatible with all electric vehicles (Tesla vehicles require an adapter) located on Lally Lane on campus. LEARN MORE
