The Department of
Environmental Health and Safety is responsible for laboratory safety, hazardous waste, chemical management, hazard communication, and overall health and safety issues.
In addition, the Treasurer's Office has a close working relationship with the
Investment Office in coordinating operational responsibilities related to the university's investment portfolio. These include internal controls along with custodial, depository, legal and audit functions.
