Students who are considering post-graduate education in law, medicine, or graduate school may need to consult with their administrative adviser regarding a certification form.
When certifications are required, it is helpful if a student has established a relationship with their administrative adviser. Many times, administrative advisers are requested to complete a certification form, but have only limited knowledge of the student. Thus, if a student is considering post-graduate education, they are advised to seek out their administrative adviser in order to begin developing a relationship so that their administrative adviser may better respond to the certification request.
A certification form may also request confirmation of any disciplinary history for a student. It is important to know that any disciplinary sanctions that begin at disciplinary probation or higher will be acknowledged if the information is requested.
