Please click on a Windows or Quicktime version of a video clip of the testimony I was recently invited to give on Senate reform before a Canadian Senate Special Committee (on Sept. 20 in Ottawa).

I appeared together with David E. Smith, who is one of the foremost authorities on the Canadian Senate and whom I happen to know from my year at the University of Saskatchewan.

David starts us off with a 25-minute introductory presentation, after which I give my own, somewhat shorter opening statement; then we both answer questions from the senators for another hour or so.
