Social Hosting Training

Students who will be hosting group events featuring alcohol must register those events with the university, and be properly trained to ensure that the events are safe, healthy, and enjoyable.

Party Safely Training

This online training is meant to help you learn what it means to host an event responsibly, regardless of the presence of alcohol. Host(s) only need to participate in the training once; however, hosts may be asked to participate in additional training following a violation of the social hosting process or alcohol policy.
What event types require this training?
Party safely training is required for students hosting private events: events with alcohol, and a total attendance of between 25 and 65 students.
