Workshops In addition to basic job search skills workshops (e.g. resume and cover letter writing, finding an internship, job search, recruiting program, interviewing, networking, etc.), we offer the following skill-based instruction designed to guide liberal arts students towards professional success.
Mini 3+ is a proprietary series geared toward sophomores and juniors to kick start their involvement with Career Services. The program is intended to provide a crash course on self-assessment, internship search, and targeted resume writing. Students enroll in pairs and participate in a 1:1 follow-up meeting with a career advisor.
First-Year Jumpstart introduces students to Career Services and outlines how they can maximize their first year. Students are advised on how to gain the experiences and skills necessary to become competitive post-graduate candidates.
Junior Jumpstart considers how rising seniors should maximize their final summer before graduation. We cover topics including: how to get the most out of your internship, building your resume while exploring career options and building a network, and steps to prepare for senior year.
Senior Starter discusses possible routes for graduating seniors and outlines the steps they should be taking during their senior year to accomplish their goals.
