If you find yourself saying things like, “Back in my day, when I applied to college...” you might need a refresher on the college admission process.
Explore: A college admission workshop.
The Explore program is targeted for rising high school juniors and seniors, who are sons, daughters, and/or grandchildren of alumni. We invite you to spend a couple of days at Colgate to gain further understanding about the college search and selection process, regardless of schools you are applying to.

Explore 2015

Thursday-Friday, July 23-24
See below for a sample schedule from last year's program. Stay tuned to this page for more details as they become available.
Information and Sample Schedule

The workshop is designed as a service to our Colgate community. Parents and students will be advised on basics of the college admission process. Colgate staff members will lead various sessions on topics that include guidelines for researching colleges, how to prepare for a campus visit, tips for completing your application, and an in-depth look at the selection process through a mock-application review. The workshop will be broad-based, covering selective college admission rather than Colgate admission specifically.
