Health and Wellness Professional Network
One of Colgate’s 10 professional networks, the health and wellness network connects alumni from related fields and provides dynamic career networking opportunities long after graduation. With regular get togethers across the country, the network also works to foster internship opportunities for current students, and to provide onramps for future employment. ABOUT THE NETWORK
Michael J. Wolk ’60 Conference on Medical Education
Alumni and other health care practitioners travel to campus to share their experiences about solo and group medical practices and working for hospitals or health maintenance organizations. The event exposes students to all facets of a career in health care.

Spend a Semester at the National Institutes of Health (NIH)

A unique experience for Colgate students studying the biomedical sciences.

Semester-long Research Immersion

Students on the NIH study group spend an entire semester, roughly 30 hours per week, conducting research in some of the world's most dynamic laboratories.

After graduating from Colgate, 93 percent of NIH study-group participants from 2009-2014 went on to receive advanced degrees.

A Faculty-led Experience

Students on the program receive instruction and advising from a full-time Colgate faculty member embedded in the program.
